Grocery Cards for Bashas & Fry's

How do Grocery Cards for
Bashas and Fry's Work?

This is an EASY and FREE way to make money for the Band.

Grocery Cards are Fry's and Bashas rechargable gift cards that you buy from the Band Boosters. Each card starts with $10 on it. At the cash register or customer service, you recharge it with whatever additional money you wish that will be used at the store (FYI...make sure you load it before you start ringing up groceries). Then use it to make purchases at the store. When the amount on the card runs low, you can reload the card again.

These stores give the Band Boosters 6% of the amount you load on your card , which is how we earn our money. For example, put $100 on your card and you get $100 in groceries and Fry's/Bashas gives the band $6.

Cards can be recharged with you credit cards, cash, debit, or check.( It's a great way to earn rewards or mileage points on your credit card.)

Grocery Cards are available at all Band Booster meetings, concerts or contact Jill London (See above).

How can I use my Grocery Cards?

You may purchase almost anything the store has to offer (i.e. groceries, stamps, film processing, flowers - almost anything except lottery tickets, money orders, Western Union or Ticketmaster tickets).

Bashas cards are good at Bashas, AJ's Fine Foods, & Food City.

Fry's cards are good at Fry's Marketplace, Fry's or any Kroger-owned stores including gas stations and others. See http://www.thekrogerco.com/ for stores.

Give them to family and friends. Fry's cards can be used in any state that has Kroger stores. Bashas are good throughout Arizona.

How many gift cards may I purchase?

You may purchase as many cards as you wish.  You may purchase a card for each parent to keep in his/her wallet, cards for co-workers, friends, out-of-state relatives, neighbors or friends.

Bashas are good throughout Arizona. Fry's cards can be used in any state that has Kroger stores. See http://www.thekrogerco.com/ for stores.

Is there a maximum balance I may keep on the card?

Cards may be charged up to $500.

How can I tell what my card balance is?

Credit remaining on the card will show at the bottom of your latest grocery  receipt.

Is there a special time to "re-charge" my card?

IMPORTANT:  When you re-charge your gift card, you must do it PRIOR to the cashier ringing up your groceries.  You can either go to the customer service counter, or ask the cashier to re-charge your card prior to ringing up your groceries.  You can use cash, credit/debit card, or write a check.

FYI...You can use your credit card and get your credit card reward points for loading your grocery card.

Are there any other special rules about my card?

If the gift card has a zero balance for six months, it will automatically be cancelled.
If there is a credit balance on the card, and it has not been used for 12 months, a service fee in the amount of $24.00 ($2.00 for each month not used) will be deducted from the balance on the card.  An additional $2.00 per month will be deducted thereafter if the card is not used.
This fee will only apply if you do not use your card for at least one year.

What if I lose my card?

If you lose your card or it is stolen, notify Jill London immediately at (480) 855-3130 and she will contact Fry's or Bashas to have a new card issued with the balance remaining on the lost or stolen card.
